“The crash of the plane wiped out the cream of the top officials who were behind the push to expose the secret files of past and current collaborators of both the Polish and Soviet/Russian secret police. With these people now dead, there is no political top cover in Poland to continue this effort. This is exactly what Putin wanted”. – Dr.Gene Poteat, a retired CIA officer on the Smolensk crash. TO FELLOW AMERICANS AND ALL OTHER PEOPLE OF GOOD WILL:
We are Polish Americans, increasingly concerned about the worsening political situation in Poland following the tragic Polish Air Force One crash in Smolensk, Russia, on April 10, 2010. Poland lost its President, First Lady, and many top ranking officials. All 96 persons aboard perished.
It is cruelly ironic that the Polish delegation aboard this doomed flight was en route to attend an event marking the 70th anniversary of the Katyn Forest Massacre in which some 22,000 Polish nationals were murdered by the NKVD, the Soviet secret police.   Read the late Polish President’s speech that he was to deliver in Katyn.
Although the scale of these two events differs greatly , they are nearly identical in their impacts with each extinguishing the leading lights of an entire generation of Poles.
Today – four years after the tragic crash - we still do not know the truth about the fatal flight and who’s responsible for it!
The official reports issued by Russian and Polish government commissions contain too many contradictions, half-truths, untrue accusations, and gaping holes to believe their final conclusions.  A third body investigating the crash, the Polish Parliamentary Commission, has managed to gather important evidence, witness testimonies, and several crucial scientific analyses which directly challenge the official reports.
A growing number of independent Polish findings indicate that the Smolensk crash may have been more than an accident.
Unfortunately, the Polish Parliamentary Commission has no real power and its significant findings are ignored or dismissed.  It is shocking to realize that the current government in Poland, a member country of the European Union and NATO, has failed to investigate the crash in a credible way.
Another sinister aspect of the crash is Russia’s refusal to return the plane wreckage and the black boxes to Poland to this day!  In fact, the day after the crash, Russian authorities began destroying the wreckage.
Given these facts alone, can anyone believe that Russia conducted an objective, transparent, and credible investigation into the Polish jet crash?
Tragically, Poland’s government has failed to secure its nation’s vital interests, national sovereignty, and fundamental justice by allowing Putin’s Russia to conduct the investigation practically by itself!

Can you imagine how America would have reacted if the US government had abandoned its duties by allowing an Islamic country to conduct the 9-11 investigations?
Can anyone deny the families of the Smolensk crash victims their right to know the truth?
Can one possibly believe that the Polish people and the free world will ever know the truth without an independent, international commission to investigate the Smolensk crash?
Will you give us your moral support and SIGN our PETITION to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence to investigate the mysterious Polish Air Force One crash?
“The dead are unable to call for justice; the duty of the living is to do so in their name.”
These prophetic words were spoken by Dr. Janusz Kochanowski, Chief of Poland’s National Bureau for Civil Rights. He was one of the 96 persons who perished in the Smolensk crash.
Will YOU STAND UP WITH US FOR THEM AND FOR POLAND?
Would you consider signing our petition and forwarding it and information to others?
It is our hope that you will choose to” light a candle rather than curse the darkness”.
